Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline, and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.

Private Violin & Viola Lessons with Brittany

I teach students of all ages and specialize in violin and viola lessons. The foundation of my teaching is based on technique, which I believe with dedicated practice develops into individuals' musical style and musicianship. I also believe that music has no boundaries and every musician deserves to explore a diverse repertoire of music genres. My students are given the opportunity to dabble in several genres of music including classical, jazz, fiddle, and pop.

Music is for everyone. Anyone, whether a young child or adult, is able to appreciate music and benefit from it. I believe everyone has the capacity to learn how to become a musician. That being said I also believe that hard work and effort is half the battle and essential to any musician's development and journey. At the heart of my philosophy is that music changes lives and enables individuals to develop into well-rounded, disciplined, empathetic individuals. Everyone deserves the opportunity to explore music at some point in their life. It is never too late to discover its power!
